Privacy notice
Your details reach us only when you book a meeting, fill in the price form or write to us. Here is what we do with them, how long we keep them and what you can do about it. We measure visits to this site, but anonymously and without storing anything on your device.
Who is the controller

Booking a meeting
The button “Pick a time” takes you to an external booking calendar. The details you enter there are processed by the calendar provider under their own terms, and we take them from that provider only in order to arrange and hold the meeting. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract.
Price calculation
On the What Occama costs page you enter the number of measuring stations and plants, together with your name, company, work email and phone number. We need these for a single purpose: to calculate a price for your scope and send it to you. The legal basis is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR, steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract. The enquiry is not stored anywhere; it arrives as an email to our sales director and is then handled like ordinary correspondence, as described in the next section. We will not use your contact details for marketing mailings.
If you write to us
We use your message and contact details only to reply and agree on next steps. We keep correspondence for the duration of the discussion and then for no longer than 24 months from the last contact. If the discussion leads to a contract, the retention period follows that contract and statutory time limits. We do not use these details for mass marketing mailings.
Who owns the data created in Occama
Measured values, control plans and recipes are yours. Occama processes them only so that the service works for you; we do not use them for our own purposes, do not pass them to third parties and do not build aggregate data across customers. When running on your own server, the data never leaves your infrastructure. The specific terms, including the return and deletion of data after the end of the cooperation, are part of the contract.
Analytics
So that we know which parts of the site are useful, we use a tool called Umami. It records the pages visited, where the visit came from, an approximate location at country level, the type of device and actions such as opening a question or submitting a form. This data is aggregated and does not identify an individual. We store no cookies or anything else on your device, which is why the site has no cookie banner. For the price form we only measure the entered number of stations and plants, never a name, company, email or phone number. The legal basis is our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR in knowing how the site performs. The measurement is operated by Umami Software, Inc. as our processor.
Who else sees the data
We process it ourselves. As processors we use providers of technical infrastructure: Cloudflare, Inc. (website operation), Umami Software, Inc. (analytics), the booking calendar provider and an email service provider. We have data processing agreements in place with them and the data is processed in the European Union or on the basis of standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You have the right of access to your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict processing, to data portability and to object. Just write to [email protected].
